Jade confessed that, while she wasn\u2019t nervous about singing, she felt nervous about talking to the judges. Opening up about the communication difficulties she experienced as an autistic person, she explained that, although conversation felt difficult, she could use singing to express herself. That\u2019s exactly what she did in her emotional first audition.<\/p>\n<p>Jade poured her heart and soul into her performance as she stunned the audience with her version of Christina Aguilera\u2019s \u2018Reflection.\u2019 Receiving a standing ovation from the judges and cheers from the audience, Jade appeared shocked at the overwhelmingly positive response to her song. Last year, Jade travelled all the way from Quebec to France to compete in The Voice Kids France. She charmed the judges and crowds with her voice here, too, with judge Nolwenn Leroy describing her voice as \u201ca gift from heaven\u201d. In this competition, she made it all the way to the semi-finals to perform a cover of Whitney Houston\u2019s \u2018I Have Nothing\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>While her performance of the song wasn\u2019t quite enough to get her through to the final of the competition, Jade\u2019s singing ability stunned both judges and the audience alike. Her mature and powerful performance had the judges exchanging grins and emotional looks while the audience cheered her on as she belted out the difficult high notes in the song. With the help of Howie Mandel\u2019s golden buzzer, it is a sure sign that things are off to a positive start.
