A nervous girl named\u00a0Alice Fredenham<\/strong>\u00a0sang\u00a0My Funny Valentine<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0for her audition in Season 7 of Britain\u2019s Got Talent. Her stellar performance even earned her a standing ovation from Simon Cowell!<\/p>\n

In season 7 of Brittain’s Got Talent, a 28-year-old Alice Fredenham steps onto the stage for the first time. And it is clear to see that she is very nervous.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow are you?\u201d one of the judges asks. \u201cScared,\u201d she says sheepishly.<\/p>\n

Alice then goes on to talk about how she didn\u2019t even tell anyone that she was going to audition for Britain\u2019s Got Talent.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t tell anyone cause I just thought I\u2019d rather just go it alone,\u201d she shared. \u201cAnd then if I\u2019m not successful, I don\u2019t have to admit that to anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cStage fright is something I\u2019ve battled with. I\u2019m just trying to take each minute as it comes,\u201d Alice explained in an interview before her audition. \u201cI want to prove to everybody I\u2019m here for something, something more than what they maybe thought.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nervous Singer Wows With Soulful Audition<\/h2>\n

As soon as Alice Fredenham starts singing\u00a0My Funny Valentine<\/em>, her beautiful and mesmerizing voice captivates the whole room.<\/p>\n

Simon is especially blown away by Alice\u2019s performance!<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what I have been waiting for. Your voice is like liquid gold. You have such an authentically beautiful voice,\u201d he tells her. \u201cYou could sing the phone book! I absolutely love you and I love your voice. And I also love the fact that you actually don\u2019t even know how good you are.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked by one of the judges why she was crying, Alice responds, \u201cI just don\u2019t think I ever expected this kind of response, and it\u2019s like my dream. And now it\u2019s just happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alice made it all the way to the BGT semifinals, but her journey on the show ended there. But many fans still remember the stunning Alice Fredenham My Funny Valentine audition to this day!<\/p>\n
